Consolidated Kitchens and Fireplaces provide a one-year Limited Warranty only to the Original Purchaser that the stone will be free from defects in material and workmanship.
The Limited Warranty shall apply to situations in which the product is used for the intended purposes, and is maintained in strict accordance with the provided Care and Maintenance instructions.
This warranty is Limited and the Purchaser's sole and exclusive remedy against Consolidated Kitchens and Fireplaces shall be at the option of Consolidated Kitchens and Fireplaces to repair or replace at our discretion the defective product. In no case will Consolidated be liable for other labor to remove or replace the product or other similar activities necessary to complete the replacement or removal of defective product (ie. plumbing, tile, etc.).
Company's obligation under this warranty is limited to repairing or replacing free of charge any defective stone. In the necessity of replacing a defective product, there can be no guarantee that the replacement stone will be a direct match for the defective stone since granite is a natural product and each slab is unique. Where possible we will do our best to match color and limit the need to place additional seams in replacement material. When replacing a defective area, a seam may be necessary. This warranty does not cover the replacement of any other stone material other than the defective area. Therefore, no additional areas of countertop will be replaced due to color or pattern differences.
No statement by Company's employees or agent directly or indirectly admitting liability under this warranty shall be binding against the Company unless
- A) Made in writing:
- B) Made by a Representative of Company authorized to do so (President or Owner)
Because stone is a natural product each slab is unique and a variation in color, pattern and veining varies from slab to slab, the Company does not warrant this variation in the stone and will not replace the product due to the difference.
